Soup is one of the best comforting and seasonal recipes especially served with some warm, crusty bread. This green soup recipe is so easy to make, especially using the new Ninja Blender & Soup Maker

  • 1 head (approx 400g) broccoli, including the stalk
  • 1 large (approx 240g) potato, peeled
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp garlic infused olive oil
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled (you can add more or less depending on taste preference)
  • 500ml cold water
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1 handful greens (I used watercress)
  • Mixed seeds (optional)
Prep Time

  1. Roughly chop the broccoli and potato

  2. Place it in your Ninja Blender & Soup Maker jug along with the chives, oil, ginger and water

  3. Blend using the ‘smooth soup’ pre-set option then leave the soup to cook and blend for 30 minutes

  4. Once the program is complete, add the tamari, lemon, coriander and watercress

  5. You also may want to add some more water depending on your preferred consistency

  6. Use the ‘pulse’ option until the coriander and watercress is broken down

  7. Divide the soup between bowls and sprinkle with seeds, if using

  8. Any leftovers can be stored in the freezer
