This section of our website is for recipes and tips shared by Ninja users, so they have not been tested by us and we do not have nutritional information for recipes.

These protein bars are nut free, absolutely delicious and so nutritious! High in calcium and antioxidants. They are soft with awesome crunch from cacao nibs and caramelly aftertaste of lucuma. Will make a great preworkout snack or just will pick you up in the afternoon like no others!

Tahini Protein Bars

5 - 1 review

  • 70 gr protein powder
  • 60 gr tahini
  • 150 gr soft dates
  • 60 gr cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp lucuma powder(optional)
  • pinch of salt
Prep Time

  1. If your dates aren’t soft, soak them in warm water for 30 min prior to blending.

  2. Add all the ingredients, except cacao nibs, to the food processor and blend untill everything is evenly incorporated and the ball forms.

(If the mixture seems too dry add 1 tablespoon of plant-based milk at a time)

  3. Lastly, add cacao nibs and blitz a few times.

  4. Remove dough from the food processor and press into the prepared tin lined with baking parchment.

  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours, then remove from the tin by lifting the edges of baking parchment and cut into bars of your desired size.

  6. Store in the fridge in the airtight container for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to a month.
