Salted Popcorn Fudge Squares

Popcorn and chocolate are two of my favourite snacks so why combine them? These gluten and dairy free popcorn fudge squares are so indulgent and simple to make.

Salted Popcorn Fudge Squares

  • For the base
  • 125g gluten free oat flour
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 25g melted coconut oil
  • 25g cacao powder
  • Fudge layer
  • 65g melted coconut oil
  • 300g smooth peanut butter
  • 40g cacao powder
  • 60ml (4tbsp) maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 15g salted popcorn
Prep Time


  1. Line a 7×7 inch square cake tin with greaseproof paper

  2. Mix the base ingredients together in a bowl then tightly press the mixture in the lined tin

  3. Place the base in the fridge while you prepare the fudge layer

  4. Add all the fudge ingredients to your food processor (except for the popcorn), pulse until you have a smooth paste

  5. Spread the fudge over the base layer

  6. Sprinkle over the popcorn, then press it into the fudge

  7. Place in the fridge to sent for 1.5 hours

  8. Cut into squares and store in the fridge
