Crudities & dip are perfect for summer. They also pack your meals full of colours and nutrients! This dip has a slightly different take on the classic hummus as it uses kidney beans in place of chickpeas. However, it’s still super creamy, garlicky and so moreish!

  • 1 can red kidney beans- drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp light tahini
  • 1 tbsp Water to help blend
  • Pinch smoked paprika
Prep Time

  1. Combine all of your ingredients in your Ninja Kitchen food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add as much or as little water as you like to achieve the desired consistency. If you like your hummus slightly thicker and more chunky, then simply blend less and add less liquid.

  3. Serve and enjoy!

Cooking and being in the kitchen was always something that I loved, after always helping and watching my mum cook as a child. Fitness is a huge part of my life, so making sure that I fuel my body with healthy, nourishing foods goes hand in hand with that. I started to create healthy alternatives to my favourite dishes and loved sharing my photos and recipes on social media just as a hobby. After a while I decided to set up my blog, which was my place to really get creative and write and share whatever I wanted.
