Portuguese style moist Peri Peri Chicken similar to Nandos for the perfect takeaway at home.
Portugese Grilled Chicken
- 4 whole chicken legs, skin on
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 3 cloves Garlic, crushed
- Black Pepper
- 4 tbsp Peri Peri Sauce of choice
Marinade the chicken with oil, garlic, lemon, salt and pepper for 30 minutes.
Insert grill plate into the unit and close the lid.
Turn the grill function to high and set the timer for 30 mins. Press the start button. Add chicken and grill 12 minutes and turn.
Cook for a further 10 minutes.
Brush both sides with the Peri Peri sauce and cook for another 3 – 4 minutes, turning over midway.
