No Bake Double Chocolate Donuts

The beauty with these incredibly rich, delicious donuts is that there’s no baking involved, they are simple to make and can be kept in the fridge until needed – plus, they are made from relatively healthy ingredients which are always a bonus, especially when double chocolate is involved!

No Bake Double Chocolate Donuts

  • For The Base
  • 100g rolled oats
  • 50g puffed quinoa
  • 40g pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup
  • For The Frosting
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 - 2 tbsp milk
Prep Time


  1. Make the donut mixture: Place the oats, quinoa, seeds, cacao powder and cinnamon in your Ninja Kitchen Nutri Ninja blender.

  2. Melt the coconut oil, almond butter and maple syrup then pour into the blender and pulse a few times so it comes together. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.

  3. Grease a large 4-hole (or smaller 6 hole) donut tin and use a spoon to place mixture into each one, using your fingers to mould it into each ring to fill to the top. Chill for at least 2 hours.

  4. Meanwhile beat together the frosting ingredients and keep in the fridge until needed.

  5. Carefully remove the donuts and stand on a lined board or tray. Use a small spoon to smooth over a generous layer of the frosting to cover the top.

  6. Sprinkle over cacao nibs, flaked almonds and cacao nibs and enjoy or keep in the fridge for up to 1 week.
