Mushroom & Potato Chilli

This Mushroom & Potato Chilli makes a simple hearty dinner and is packed with nourishing ingredients from fibre-rich kidney beans to nutrient-dense mushrooms. The perfect warming comfort food after a long day!

Mushroom & Potato Chilli

  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 potatoes, chopped into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup chestnut mushrooms
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 cup tinned tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup tinned kidney beans, drained
  • 1/4 cup sweetcorn
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp ground garlic
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts, for serving
Prep Time


  1. Select SEAR/SAUTÉ and set to HIGH, to preheat for 2 minutes

  2. Add the rapeseed oil. After a few seconds, add the spring onions and potatoes. When the potatoes are starting to brown after about 3 minutes, add in the mushrooms and salt

  3. Add in all spices and herbs and stir well for 1 minute

  4. Press START/STOP to cancel SEAR/SAUTÉ. Pour in the tinned tomatoes, kidney beans and sweetcorn. Stir well, then put the pressure lid on, ensuring the pressure release valve is in the SEAL position

  5. Select PRESSURE and set to HIGH for 3 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin

  6. After 3 minutes, carefully move the pressure release valve to the VENT position to quick release the pressure. When all pressure has been released, remove the lid

  7. Serve with a sprinkle of pine nuts
