Mint-Choc Chip Smoothie

Try this delicious and fresh mint chocolate smoothie. I’ve included spinach to make it an amazing green (‘minty’) colour and help contribute to your daily intake of vegetables.

Cacao nibs add the ‘chocolate’ portion of the recipe, but if you can’t get hold of them then try adding a few chocolate chips instead.


  • 100g banana (frozen)
  • 30g frozen spinach
  • 250ml cup milk of choice (I prefer rice milk)
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 8 mint leaves
Prep Time


  1. Blend together the banana, spinach, milk, and mint leaves.

  2. Add in one tbsp of cacao nibs and pulse 2 times to combine and break them down slightly.

  3. Transfer your smoothie to a bowl and top with more cacao nibs and fruit of your choice.
