Try this delicious and fresh mint chocolate smoothie. I’ve included spinach to make it an amazing green (‘minty’) colour and help contribute to your daily intake of vegetables.
Mint-Choc Chip Smoothie
Cacao nibs add the ‘chocolate’ portion of the recipe, but if you can’t get hold of them then try adding a few chocolate chips instead.
- 100g banana (frozen)
- 30g frozen spinach
- 250ml cup milk of choice (I prefer rice milk)
- 5 ice cubes
- 8 mint leaves
Blend together the banana, spinach, milk, and mint leaves.
Add in one tbsp of cacao nibs and pulse 2 times to combine and break them down slightly.
Transfer your smoothie to a bowl and top with more cacao nibs and fruit of your choice.
