Rate this recipe

These oaty protein bakes are delicious when served fresh and warm out of the oven and equally as tasty when they cool down and the top becomes crunchy. They’re made with rolled oats, vegan Kin Nutrition protein powder, flax seeds and coconut oil to give you a balance of complex carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats.

Grab 1-2 for breakfast or 1 as an afternoon snack.

Prep Time

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°c.

  2. Mix together the flax seed and water and set aside so that it can gel together.

  3. Blitz 50g of oats in your blender to form flour, then mix it with the whole oats, protein powder and baking powder.

  4. Stir in raisins and carrots, followed by the coconut oil, flax seed mixture and oat milk.

  5. Grease your muffin tin with coconut oil, then press in the dough. Make sure that the mixture if pushed into the corners and that the top is flat.

  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes.

  7. You can eat the oaty protein bakes fresh out of the oven or leave them to cool on a rack. Store in an air tight container when cooled.
