Creamy Mash

This creamy mash makes the perfect side dish to a Sunday roast. A favourite for my family and very easy to make. I use King Edward Potatoes in this recipes, Maris Piper and even Desiree are also great.

  • 2lb Potatoes (I use King Edwards)
  • 125 ml Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Butter plus more to serve
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 125 ml - 200 ml Milk or Cream
  • 1 tbsp Herbs of choice
Prep Time


  1. Peel Potatoes or Scrub really well and add to the Ninja Foodi.

  2. Cover with the water and close valve to seal.

  3. Manually Pressure cook on high for 12 minutes.

  4. Quick Release the pressure (Vent), open the Foodi carefully and mash potatoes with a potato masher.

  5. Add the salt, butter, black pepper and milk until the desired consistency is reached.

  6. Add herbs of your choice and mix through.
