Cooking and being in the kitchen was always something that I loved, after always helping and watching my mum cook as a child. Fitness is a huge part of my life, so making sure that I fuel my body with healthy, nourishing foods goes hand in hand with that. I started to create healthy alternatives to my favourite dishes and loved sharing my photos and recipes on social media just as a hobby. After a while, I decided to set up my blog, which was my place to really get creative and write and share whatever I wanted

I wanted to share with people just how many amazing and inventive things you can create with really simple, wholesome ingredients and I’ve never been happier since doing what I do now. I feel incredible inside and out when I’m eating food that makes me feel good and most importantly, that I enjoy! I wanted to help people see how enjoyable healthy eating can be, so I hope these recipes do that.

I became a food blogger because:
I loved sharing photos and recipes on my social media channels and wanted to help show people how creative and interesting food can be. I soon realised tat I was at my happiest when I was blogging and creating recipes and that it was what I wanted to do full time. I feel so privileged to be able to say that my passion and hobby is my career!

My favourite recipe is:
The butternut and feta mac and cheese.

I used to be obsessed with pasta as a child and feta and butternut squash are two of my favourite foods and taste so delicious together in this sauce! Butternut squash has a slightly sweet flavour and acts as a great base for sauces when blended, as becomes really creamy! Its also pretty much a one pot meal and is something really easy to throw together for a family weeknight dinner!
