This berry smoothie bowl is bursting with blueberries; I also added some sneaky greens and fats from tahini to improve it’s the nutritional profile.

I have used frozen blueberries because they usually work out cheaper than fresh, will last for ages in the freezer (if you don’t eat them first) and give the smoothie bowl a great purple colour.

  • 150ml oat milk
  • 100g frozen blueberries
  • 50g (1 large handful) fresh spinach
  • 25g banana
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 12 ice cubes
  • Toppings
  • raspberries, unsweetened coconut, pumpkin seeds
Prep Time

  1. Chop the fruit and place it in the blender with all of the ingredients apart from the ice.

  2. Pulse for 1-2 seconds – repeat this 5 times. Then blend for 30 seconds or until everything is smooth.

  3. Add in the ice and blend again until everything is smooth.

  4. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add the toppings.
