Banana and Vanilla Protein Cookies

A deliciously simple on the go breakfast alternative, these protein cookies are a great way to start the day – they are also perfect to have before or after the gym. Free from nuts, oil, soya, refined sugars. You can make them gluten-free by swapping to certified gluten-free oats and vegan by changing to a plant-based protein.

Banana and Vanilla Protein Cookies

  • 1 ½ ripe bananas
  • 150g jumbo oats
  • 65g erythritol or sweetener of choice
  • 70g vanilla whey protein
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 15-20g chocolate pieces
Prep Time


  1. Begin by preheating the oven to 170C degrees

  2. Mash the bananas until they turn into a puree

  3. Using the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen System and the plastic blade, pour in all of the ingredients minus the chocolate pieces and select low for 30-60 seconds until the ingredients turn into a cookie dough

  4. Using an ice cream scoop, mould the cookies directly into a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and press them down into a cookie

  5. Sprinkle with the chocolate pieces and place in the oven

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes

  7. Enjoy the cookies while they are warm (and cold too!)
